I browsed my Goodreads to try to find this but it's so hard. Some wrote only one series I loved like JK Rowling while others did 3 or 4 I really liked and felt connected to in some way like Andrew Clements.

I guess I'd pick those two...their works aged better than other children's author's I liked

For the third, it's probably someone between Robert Arthur, Dav Pilkey, Ishio Yakagata or Yoshihiro Togashi. Each of them has just one series I enjoyed but I enjoyed quite a bit. I guess I'd probably eliminate Dav Pilkey because I think his works felt repetitive over time, a bit, and a bit overlong.

Overall, For English writers only, I'd say Robert Arthur, JK Rowling and Andrew Clements with Andrew Clements at the front.

If other languages are included, Yamagata and Togashi may bump off the other two, not sure.
Hi all. I like board games, card games, video games, books (especially children's books and mysteries), stories, cartoons, anime, manga, light novels, animation, and other light-hearted, fun things. Feel free to message if you want to chat!

Well as hard as it is,I have to rank them. Lousia May Alcott comes first for me. It's like she knows just what I want to read. Alexander McCall comes second followed by Jane Austen. She reaches down in my heart.

My top three favorite authors of all time would be Margaret Peterson Haddix, Suzanne Collins, and J.K. Rowling. All of these authors have an unique writing style which keeps the reader attentative until the last page of the book. These authors have also written masterpieces that are well known by many people because of the grandeur of their writing styles.

1. Chinua Achebe
2. Bill Cosby
3. Wole Soyinka

These great authors have written great books that have remained reference points to many other books even after fifty years of publishing.

Picking three isn't that much easier than picking one, but I'll try!

1. Margaret Attwood
2. Ursula Le Guin
3. Jenny Valentine

There could be so many more contenders, though.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".
