Lastly, one class (not sure how it related in the slightest), he showed us this really old computer game that only had words. You would type in something and it would read something like "You come to a door" and then you could have to type in what you would do. I've forgotten what the name of the game was but, for some reason, never forgot about it!

First of all I just have to laugh that this discussion started in 2014. It is now 2016, and I am still wondering what will happen to Kvothe on the third day of "Kote" telling his story to Chronicler. I love this series and author. But I also loathe him for leading me on with no conclusion in site.
I need to read Slow Regard of Silent Things. How did it compare to the other books? Are any main characters of the series in it other than Auri? I absolutely love her!
I finished all of them in the last week or so and loved them, already can't wait for the third book, can only imagine how frustrating it is after two years, but if you haven't read the Slow Regard of Silent Things yet I would definitely recommend doing so, it's a great little peek into Auri's world

Not because it is an awesome book, which it MOST definitely is, but because the wait for the third book is killing me and the future doesn't look bright on the horizon. I just hope he writes it before I die. **sigh**
But aside from that Rothfuss is a cool guy for sure. He was a professor at some unversity and I've heard he used to go on tangents in the middle of his teachings. Must have been fun.

I am excited to see what masterpiece he provides when book 3 comes out.

I listened to his audiobooks first and completely fell in love with his writing. He writes like he's composing music. It's so fluid and beautiful.
And his story! His story is elegantly woven with twists and turns that I never would have expected.
I'm patiently (not so patiently) waiting for Doors of Stone to come out. I'm hoping soon because I need to know how Kvothe's story ends!
