I would go with Hamlet with MacBeth close behind.

My favourite play of Shakespeare is Macbeth. This is because I enjoyed the twists and turns of the entire story.

I have read all of the plays and own them all plus all of his sonnets. Out of them all my top plays are Twelfth Night and Much Ado About Nothing. The one play of his that I can’t stand and I had to read it in school, was criticized for not liking it was Romeo and Juliet.

I have read a lot of Shakespeare's plays and my forever favorite has to be Macbeth. I read it so much that I learned by memory the song “Double, Double Toil and Trouble” from the witches. I think is a phenomenal play. It has great portrayal of the characters and important life lessons in it.

Othello is a great one. Lots of drama, wit and tragedy, and Iago is a deliciously evil Machiavellian villain

I have only read three: Twelfth Night, The Tempest, and The Merchant of Venice but I thoroughly enjoyed all of them.
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

Shakespeare is arguably the greatest writer of all time. Every time I decide to reread it, I change my mind. I will stick with my position a few months ago, though.

The Tempest gets the nod. Shakespeare's Globe's The Tempest release (2014) is phenomenal. I wish I had been there...

So far, Romeo and Juliet is my favorite play by him. I happen to consider it as my favorite because I loved its movie adaptation on year 1968, perhaps.

Rome and Juliet. I especially like the re-make that uses vocabulary from both the original play and vocabulary that even 12-year-olds can understand, so that the original meaning isn't lost in translation.

A Merchant of Venice is my favourite Shakespeare play. It has an amazing plot twist at the end which I find to be both funny and smart.

The Taming of the Shrew and A Mid Summers Night Dream are at the top for me. I adored performing them in high school English class.
