Re: Fave book of a 1st time author
She was only 19 when she wrote it and the concept is beautiful and original. A true author creating a world and showing how she would handle knowing that death was coming and deciding how to comfort those you love when you are gone.

I can't believe this was a debut novel. It's amazing.

Another favorite was Little Glass Men by Conor Walsh. Honestly, it was meeting the author that made me want to read the book and I was blown away. First, the author was 18 and it is his first book, not that you would know that after reading it. The way he incorporated history was so seamless and again the characters really stick with you!
