I love Leigh Greenwood's historical romance novels, especially his "Seven Brides" series and "The Cowboys" series. I was so surprised when I learned Leigh is actually a man, but somehow, that made the books even better. They are a fun read!

Yeah, I went through a phase where I was constantly reading his books, but they were just too much child/sex abuse stories...I can't handle it. Molly Harper and Janet Evanovich are my current guilty pleasures, however.

Hands down V.C. Andrews! I don't care for some of the newer stuff but I love the books.

I would have to say it is Lauren Dohner's New Species series. I don't think I would even admit reading those books to my husband!

Damien Lewis, Author of all sorts of books relating to true stories regarding UK Special Forces. He writes with such straightforward verve he is hard to resist but not for serious lovers of historical accounts.

That's a tough question. I have to say Diana Palmer. She writes (or used to write?) these lame old fashioned erotic novels that I, throughout the years, kept reading against my better judgement. She is my guilty pleasure, among other authors, that makes me feel embarrassed with myself every time I mark one of her books as "read" in Goodreads.

I read different romance books but never remember the author. Those are my guilty pleasure for times I just wanna turn my brains off.

My guilt pleasure is J.R ward, but I do read many romance authors just to give my mind a nice thoughtless break.

Honestly? Bill Watterson. I love Calvin and Hobbes, and when I just need to take a break from my life and step back into pure, selfish, un-complicated enjoyment, I read his comics.

Harlan Coben. His books are like potato chips. No nutritional value whatsoever, but you just can't stop eating them. I haven't found many deep plots in his books (yet), but I am a sucker for the quirky characters and witty dialogue he does so well. And every book I've read so far had a twist I didn't see coming. I love that.
