Is is a shame that I've only read Great Expectations and A Christmas Carol?

I've always wanted to read A Tale of Two Cities. I know the whole opening line but I haven't even read it

Why restrict it to those three ? My personal favorite is "Bleak House". My Dickens Reading Group would be shocked at the limitation ! Right now, we are reading "Our Mutual Friend". But, of the 3, I would say "Oliver Twist".

Great Expectations was the first novel by Dickens that I ever read. It made me fall in love with his work. It was my favorite until I read A Tale of Two Cities.

David Copperfield, with Bleak House a very close second.

I love David Copperfield too. I have yet to read Bleak House. I have it downloaded, though.

A Christmas Carol is my favorite. But in a deeper mood I would go for Oliver Twist.

I felt a greater emotional attachment to DC than any other of Dickens' novels. It's hard not to feel drawn to the characters to which Dickens is sympathetic (such as Peggotty, Daniel Peggotty, Betsey Trotwood, Dora, Ham, Micawber, David himself, and, of course, Agnes). He wrote about them with such affection. And the antagonists, such as Uriah Heep and Steerforth, are so well constructed and developed.

Bleak House is, in my opinion, one of the greatest works in English literature. It is among Dickens' most mature and ambitious works in story, scope, and complexity. I've read it several times, and it never ceases to impress. The sheer intellect and talent it took to write it is amazing.
