I would say Mochizuki Jun. I read books since I learn how to and there were only a few that moved me.

He beautifully crafted the characters and let it all loose. They are vivid, evocative that rings my soul even today.

If possible, would loved to meet him.

I have to say that Emily Bronte is still my favorite author. As far as just really loving the fullness and richness of her art. Wuthering Heights is a book I have read many times, purely for pleasure.

My favorite author is Fred Emil Katz. The reason is, his topics and book content of his writings are unique, unusual, outstanding, intellectually stimulating and challenging.

This is a hard one since lately I read mostly self-help books from any author. But my favorite novelist would be Paulo Coehlo.

Drew Hayes!! He writes clever fantasy, churns out stories pretty rapidly while still maintaining excellent quality. He manages to mix quick humor with deep insight. I'm impressed by every book I've read by him.

Loving Cormac McCarthy right now. Breaks the rules and still lauded. Loved The Road and No Country For Old Men and saved everything he has ever done on a special wish list on Amazon. My kind of McCarthyism!
