Colleen Hoover

Post by LPAUL_82 »

Wow! Can I just say that she is becoming a favorite of mine? I am loving her writing style and the stories she tells. She is excellent at developing characters. You feel like you know them. The plots are real life and draw you in. Once I start, I have a hard time putting it down! I've experienced this with every one of her books.

I cannot wait to get my hands on more!

I completely agree! I started with her Hopeless series, and while I did not enjoy the books themselves, I loved her writing style. I have no finished her Confess novel, which I fell in LOVE with! I could not put down the book once I started. I have her It Ends With Us pre-ordered!

I loved the first Hopeless book. Between her writing style and the story development I couldn't stop reading it... twice.
I have not had a chance to read many of her other books but look forward to doing so in the future.
Just in Hopeless alone, she became one of my favorite authors.

The first book I picked up of her was 'It Ends With Us' and it felt like a jackpot in my hands. After that, I read all her books and can't wait to read more.
Imagine if we had no secrets, no respite from the truth. What if everything was laid bare the moment, we introduced ourselves?

I've loved all of her books except Verity. Layla was one of my favorites.

I am still getting into reading her books, I guess her style of writing still needs to grow on me.

I love Colleen Hoover! I read one of her books for a book club, and I immediately read two others. She's very talented.

I agree 100%. She got me back into reading after a few years. I haven’t read all of her books yet but have already read 5 in two months I think and loved them all!

I have been meaning to read Colleen Hoover for a while now, ever since I noticed her amassed popularity on #booktok about a year ago. Based on these comments, I definitely think she is an author worth checking out! Does anyone have a certain book of hers to recommend as my introduction to her writing style?

I have seen her books everywhere recently. Whenever there is an Amazon sale, her books are front and center. I have always wondered if it is just hype and good marketing or is there something to her work?

I hear her name everywhere, but never read anything. Going to read It Ends with Us soon as it was available in skip the line library section. Is that a good book to start with?

I haven't read any of her books but everyone seems to absolutely love her and her novels. I can't wait to get my hands on one of her books and try it.

I think Hoover is a very good author for people who are a bit shy picking up books. I don't think her writing is anything amazing, but it has themes and plotlines that are very intriguing, making me not be able to put her book down until I'm finished with it.
