The story is so touching; executing an innocent man is so painful, and I wonder how hard life has been for Chloe for her to think of joining an illegal business.

The author narrates the story of Tully, an ex-con who is tasked with fulfilling a death row inmate's last wish. When Tully meets the inmate's daughter, she realizes that she's in danger since she's working with the very people who framed her father. This is a story of self discovery with religious elements and bits of Irish folklore.

What I love about Thin Places by Diane Owens Prettyman is how the author is able to mix the different aspects of romance, adventure and mystery to create this amazing text.

The plot of this book sounds so full with twists. I can understand how heartbroken Finn Tully must have been when he saw the divorce papers. Life in prison is rough. Life outside of prison is tougher when all you really cared about is gone.

I know how disappointing it will be for Tully to see his ex-wife with another man, and I would love to see how all this ends.

This review shows this book is not one you can read casually; there's a lot that can be picked from it from different perspectives. I love such books.

You have nicely summarised the novel. I liked the simplicity. However, there isn't much given on what to like in this novel. Given the mixed reviews I find the story is going to be an easy predictable one. The review is great though. Thanks!

The review was thoughtful and well-written! The in-depth description of what happens in the story without any spoilers is kind of a cliff hanger on its own. I'm going to add this book to my 'to-read list'.

"Thin Places" by Diane Owens Prettyman seems interesting. It is a book of many parts. Although it is fairly predictable, we have a fine storyline here and should take it as that. Congrats on BOTD. This is a compelling review.

Great review! I have just read the sample of the book and I am intrigued now about what lead to both men to jail, how their families are and whether the treasure is real or not!

Tully and Chloe's stories sound captivating. While it's sad that an innocent man, Chloe's father, was executed, I think it would be interesting to discover the truth behind his innocence. Thanks for the review!
