How to read books on bookshelves

Post by Amy+++ »

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to read books that I have saved on my bookshelves. I know that today's BOTD is available to read through bookshelves but I don't know how to do it. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Books on the Shelf can't be read or downloaded. It say so on the FAQ.

Regarding today's BOTD, clicking on the link on the book's page will bring you to Smashwords site. You download it from Smashwords.

Books on the Shelf can't be downloaded. You pick the books from your Review Team Page only. You should only pick formats you are able to download.

What is the point of putting books in your shelf if not allowed to read them? So have ideas of books to look for elsewhere?
And yes, I picked formats I can get on my son's tablet..
So you are saying only chose books for my shelves from the Review Team Page. Alright, will not look at many other ones then.

You can put any book on your Bookshelves. You just can't review books from there without purchasing them. The Bookshelves are just a way that you can make note of books you have read or want to purchase to read. When I see a book that someone else reviewed that I want to read, I pop it on my bookshelves so I can remember it. As Gali said, you access the books that are available to review (paid or volunteer) from your Select tab.

Bookshelves is just a place to keep track of your books. Books on Bookshelves cannot be read or downloaded.

Please read the replies before posting as this question is answered within the thread. Thank you. :tiphat:
