You are not telling me diddly squat! I know what bold looks like and I know what italic looks like. I am not stupid! I have written letters, articles hundreds of times using bold letters and italic letters using the bold tab and italic tab. I'm asking you how do you turn a word into a bold word or an italic word when there are no bold or italic tabs for you to us!

You can type them in manually.

You say type them in manually but you don't say how manually. When I have written using Microsoft Word and of the book is in italics and the rating in bold font, and then I paste it on the Private Review page the italics and bold font disappear. I need to know when it is already posted on the Private Review page what keys do I need to press down to turn the highlighted words into either a bold font or an italic font. Also, why did they do away with the bold font and italic font tabs? That makes no sense to me!

I am having trouble in making text display as bold or italic. This is what is displayed above the streamlined submission form: "To make text bold, use the code. To make text italic, use the code. Click here for further help and instructions for using BBCode to make text bold or italic."

The bar menu with the said codes which is often found on the web-based submission form does not exit on the streamlined submission form. So when you highlight the text and click on the codes to convert the text to bold or italics nothing happens.

Are chapter titles put in italics or regular text? I ask because each chapter in the book I am currently reading is a different topic. So my review will be divided into chapters.

I am honestly having issues with this bold and italics explanations. I can't seem to get it right. I need more clarifications please. Possibly with an example, maybe in sentence form. Thanks

After a million trials I got it. Thanks to "tintinkie" explanation. To make it bold type before the words and [\b] after the words. For italics before and [\i] after the words.
