I agree! More often than not, the page count is far off from the actual count.kandscreeley wrote:Keep in mind as well that the page numbers listed are not always accurate. I'm not sure if the author fills in that field on OBC or not, but sometimes it'll say 10,000 pages when it's not. Sometimes it'll say 100 pages when it's 400. I always take that with a grain of salt and also see what the Amazon page count is.

I've never gotten to the point where I have had to ask for more time. I don't think you are given a penalty as long as you submit a request for more time ahead of the 1-month deadline and state the reason. You are given a penalty if the deadline passes and you haven't already been granted an extension. Also, I'm not sure if this is something you shouldn't do too frequently.MsTri wrote:Thanks for that suggestion, @bookowlie. Is there no penalty for asking for more time?
