Misspelled Authors

Post by ricka1191 »

Hi there

Please advise - when I try to correct spelling mistakes in Authors names (eg. A.A.Puntambekar should be
A.A. Puntambekar and it should be under authors with the last name P and Not A ) the response is that the names are still the same and therefore no action is taken.

How do I correct this and also how do I correct Megan Abbott which appears as megan abbott?

Thanks

I'm not exactly sure what you mean.
Could you give me a title to one of their books, so I can look into it?

Hi Gravy
Please look at - design and analysis of algorithm by A.A.Puntambekar - The author should be
A.A. Puntambekar - At the moment according to the database the authors's last name starts with A - It should be P.

Trying to correct it by reporting it in the normal way does not help

Thanks

It should be fixed. The space was missing between the "A.A." and "Puntambekar", so it was being counted as a single name. :tiphat:
