Determine book length and reading time

Post by TIGER999 »

I ran across a site that may be helpful re word/page count: www.readinglength.com. Just enter the title or ISBN in the search box, and it will bring up the word & page count, along with the estimated reading time, based on 250WPM. You can change the WPM, and also take a test to determine your individual reading rate. It will also show you the publishing date to help determine which edition the stats are based on. Maybe this will help?

It was interesting at least to calculate my words read per minute. Thanks.

Wow, Gravy...looks like we're becoming old friends by now!! :) Although I signed up awhile ago, I've only just started participating...so I'm still trying to figure it all out & I really appreciate your help & information! I noticed some people were asking about how to get word count when adding a book, when that information didn't seem readily available. So I thought this site would help with obtaining that info. Hope you have FUN at the site! :)
