2 reviews for one book?

Post by Wasif Ahmed »

I did a paid book review and got paid for it and while scrolling thought the forums found another official review of the same book. It wasn't a volunteer review. Is this normal?

I have seen this several times for paid reviews. The authors sometimes pay for more than one review. It might be that they didn't like the rating they received the first time and are hoping for a better result. Another reason is that they just want additional reviews to use excerpts from when marketing the book.
