How do I get taken off review team

I will not be writing any more reviews for books I wouldn't have read any way. I no longer want to be part of the review team, you need to get some books worth reading. I have only really enjoyed reading one book from the list of books that were chosen for me to review. If I could review the books I enjoy reading it would be no problem but if I can only read sub standard novels it is a waste of my time.

You can resign the team via the UCP. Go to your UCP (User Control Panel), under the Usergroups tab you will see the Review Team. Mark it and choose the option to resign.

I've been looking at this, and I haven't seen an option to resign--is there something more specific I should know? Thanks, gali!

You will find the option at the bottom of the page, under 'select'. Alternatively, you can contact Scott (using the Contact link) and ask to be removed.

MsMartha, I am sorry to hear you are thinking of resigning from the Review Team. I enjoy reading your reviews! Anyway, you might want to consider staying on the team even if you don't choose to review books in the near future. This way, if you decide to return, you won't have to start from scratch.

bookowlie, I appreciate your help and enjoyment! I am trying to determine if I will have time to do more reviews--it's been 6 months already since I did one, and it seems I'm just getting busier all the time. (I'd rather be busy with reading than the other things I need to do, so I think I'll wait awhile to see how things go.)

Books are chosen for you to review. There is a very large selection of books. You pick them. I'd suggest you take some time before choosing a book to check the current ratings on Bookshelves and Amazon.

Also, if you are not getting a big selection of books, you should doublecheck your preferences. If you have already done one review, you should also take a look at your reviewer score.

Thank you,
Scott

I don't want to be on the Review team. Cause I'm actively working on my story. This could become a distraction to my work. I need to focus on my studies and writing so I want to wuit

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. You are, of course, free to not select any more books for review. If you already selected a book for review and you haven't submitted a review yet, you can request an extension via the update tab until you are able to submit the review. Alternatively, if you do not want to finish reading the book, there's a cannot finish reading option on the update tab. You can use that instead. Please let me know if this helps.

Thank you.
Melissa.
