Amazon review [resolved]

Post by Sara Nóbrega Bartolomeu »

Hi all,

Amazon is taking much longer to approve reviews. I am not being able to do anything because of this.
I suggest you allow reviewers to select a "new book" after they confirm that the "old book" review was done. You can then prevent from proceeding with the "new book" review submission while waiting for the "old book" Amazon review to be approved. There should be enough time between starting and finishing a new book for the previous book review to be approved by amazon.
This way the reviewer is not penalised but will also have the commitment to submit the amazon review.

Thanks
Sara

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. If a reviewer marks their Amazon review as submitted, they will be allowed to select another book to review. If there is a dispute about the Amazon review due to the author's inability to locate it, the reviewer cannot select another book until that dispute is resolved.

I know in recent times Amazon has been taking an unusually long time to publish reviews. Unfortunately, we cannot control Amazon's policies or how their review process works. I do suggest reaching out to Amazon if you are concerned, however.

Hi Katitlyn,

I wonder if you could allow me to select a book while I'm waiting. I've contacted. Amazon several times now. Apparently it has been forwarded to their specialist review team. I miss reading badly by now 🙈
I don't mind having payments end until this is resolved, I just want book! Ahah

I can send proof by email that the review was submitted.

Thanks in advance,
Sara

Hi,

Thank you for reaching out. If you cannot select a book due to an open dispute regarding a published Amazon review, you must resolve this dispute first before you are able to select a book for review.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.

Hi,

Me again!

I found the original email upon book selection and it didn't ask for an Amazon review. Since this wasn't mandatory, can't this be removed as a necessary action on my side?
I did the review and it will eventually be approved it's just not dependent on me. I can forward the email of the book selection, if needed.
I suppose if this happened to someone who can't make reviews on Amazon it would have to be solved.
I would like to highlight that the Amazon review was not listed as part of my actions.

I've made a complaint to Amazon but unfortunately, resubmitting a review will cause further delays (as they said)

Thanks in advance,
Sara
