Great! I'm glad!gali wrote:@"Scott", I like the new addition to the Bookshelves (update position box). It makes it easier to move books around. Well done!

It seems, to me at least, that the more books on a page, the slower it loads, and I thought that might help.

Alternatively, I am considering making it so that by default only a certain number of books are shown from each shelf and then there is a button to show the rest of the shelf like with the trash bin. What do you think?Graverobber wrote:I was wondering if we would ever have individual preferences for bookshelves, like we have for the forums? Mainly, because I would love to have the option to view one shelf at a time, kind of like the way the 'trash' shelf is hidden unless clicked on.

You can PM me about this.bookowlie wrote:Who do I contact about a cover on one of my Bookshelf books? Not only is the cover inaccurate, it appears to be spam. I have a feeling it is spam created by the author, who was very obnoxious and rude in response to my review.

I have a glitch book on my 'to read' shelf. It happened when a book got corrected. Anyway...there are two versions of the same book, both link to the correct one, but one shows as correct and the other...really doesn't. I can't move the glitch book or anything. I also can't report it because it links to the 'good' book.
It shows as 'the best' by 'nicholas sparks' and is at the bottom of the shelf.

@Graverobber I fixed it. Unfortunately, I am unsure of the cause, but I suspect it occurred during the merger of the duplicate books.Graverobber wrote:@Scott

Yes, they are different pictures for each shelf. They have been there all along. Incidentally, the girl hugging the printer paper is only for the 4 out of 4 star shelf, not all the 'already read' shelves.bookowlie wrote:For each book on my "Already Read" Shelves, there is an avatar of a girl hugging a man made of printed paper, against a printer paper background. The avatar shows up in the rectangular box on the book's detail page. On my Want to Read Shelves, there is a different avatar that looks like a cartoon character. Are these avatars generic pictures for each Shelf category? I never noticed them before?
If you have better images to use for the shelves, please give them to me.

Thanks for the info! I think the avatars are very attractive. Nice idea to make the Shelves fun to look at! I just never noticed them before and initially thought the girl with the printer paper was another member's photo. I only realized they were probably general avatars when I started looking at my Want to Read books.Scott wrote:Yes, they are different pictures for each shelf. They have been there all along.
