REVIEW TEAM AND REVIEW REQUEST ISSUES - Read this first

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

REVIEW TEAM AND REVIEW REQUEST ISSUES - Read this first

Post by Scott »

From now on, please do not post in the "Suggestion Box" forum about problems or questions regarding the review team. Instead:

For basic information about the review team: Please check the 'Review Team' section of the site FAQ--this includes information about how to join, how to find the review team page, and how to submit a review request.

If you are a reviewer on the review team and you have an issue: Please check the Review Team Page for information, particularly the Review Team Guidelines & Basics page. If you are having an problem with a book/review, please submit an error report using the review team page. If you are not in the middle of doing a review, and you have a question or problem that you are 100% sure is not answered by the FAQ or the Review Team Guidelines & Basics, then please use the main contact form to send in a private message about it.

If you are an author/publisher who has submitted a book for review: Please check the Author Dashboard for up-to-date information. A link to that page should have been emailed to you when you submitted your review request AND should be in the header of the forum when you are logged in. The link should also be included with any other emails regarding your review. Needless to say, authors and other general advertisers who have purchased a package are entitled to priority service and faster more in-depth technical support. While this can be frustrating for those requesting the free service, please understand this is not a bait and switch; we have done thousands of free reviews without issue.

If you cannot resolve your issue using one of the above steps, please use the site's main contact form.

The moderators regularly monitor the Suggestion Box. I check the Review Team error reports, and I check the messages sent in with the Author Dashboard message. We want to help you as fast as possible and these procedures are here so you can get help or have your message read and responded to as fast and as helpfully as possible.

Please also note that you can't download the books on the Shelf, nor are you meant to. The books on the bookshelves aren't for reading/downloading, but to keep track of your reading. To receive books for a review you need to join the review team, as the review books are only offered through the review team page.

For further info on the rules please also check the Strict Anti-Spam Rules and the Topic Creation Guidelines. :tiphat:
