Where do I create a signature? [resolved]

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

Where do I create a signature? [resolved]

Post by Pwyrdan »

I'm sure I'm being incredibly blind, but I've checked my control panel many times over, every tab, and I can only find the "automatically include signature" button, no place to actually type one. Can anyone give me more detailed instructions than the FAQ? Thanks.

@Pwyrdan
Go to User Control Panel & select the Tab titled Profile, on the left there are four options - select Edit Signature & away you go.

Yes -- as a new member, you're not allowed to have a full profile. Spend some time in the forums and make some posts. I think it took about a week before I was allowed to edit my profile as a newbie. But now I've been here forever. Like... a whole MONTH! :lol:

Sorry for the basic question...Where is the control panel to find the automatic signature? How do you copy the URL of your review to post it? When I tried it is a plain text. Thank you!

At the top of the page. Click on your name, and you will see it.

You can share your published review via the tabs under the book cover on your review.

Is it possible to add pictures or gifs to your signature? If so, how? I'm a little slow when it comes to even basic coding and whatnot, haha.

You can add smilies using the ones offered on-site, but adding images is not possible. :tiphat:

Aw, that's a shame. Guess I'll just have to use the quote, then. Thank you so much! :D

I have over 60 posts and I still don't see an 'edit signature' option. Why is that? Do I need to level up to create a signature? I'm currently level 2.

I'm here since 1 month and have over 100 posts but still I don't see an ‘edit signature’ option in my control panel - profile tab. Please can anyone tell me when I'll get ‘edit signature’ option.
