How can I convert a .php file

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

How can I convert a .php file

I downloaded a book to review yesterday, and although I choose the .mobi file option, it has saved as a .php file on my computer. Is there anyway to convert this to read on my kindle, or at least open it on my pc?

The problem is now sorted, don't know how or why, but I tried the download again at intervals and the last time it came through as a .mobi file.

The php file is the webpage itself, not the book. I don't know why that would happen. What browser were you using when you tried to download it? How many times did it come through as .php?

I was using IE 10. I tried to download the file four or five times and gave up as it was still showing as .php. I tried the download again the next day and that time it came through as .mobi. I don't know what was different, just glad I could read the book.
