Clarification of new policy

So that we can provide faster and better support, this forum (the "Public Suggestion Box") has been retired. Instead, please send any suggestions you have to us using the official website contact form.

This allows us to streamline our support system so that we can get to your message much faster. Instead of our support staff having to check three different places (support forum, suggestion box, and contact form messages), they know can respond to all message through one method, with that one method being the official website contact form.

Clarification of new policy

Post by Seamstress »

Effective December 15th, the prizes for the daily giveaway will be sent via PayPal instead of Amazon gift card.
I don't really have any problem with this, just one question - will that be full $20 or will it be reduced by fees, like it was happening with Twitter Rewards Dashboard? It won't be fair if we would get less instead of usuall amount

The site will send $20, but Paypal will distract its commission from that amount. The site has no control over PayPal's policy. Any issues about it should be addressed to Paypal.

The site has control to pay commission. Paypal has this option yo distract fees from sender or receiver. Won't you agree it is more fair that when you offer $20 prise that winner gets said $20, not less. With Amazon cards we always has exactly that much and no distractions.

I am not familiar with the option you mentioned. The site will send the money just like it always does. If you have a problem with that, you should privately contact Scott about it.

Honestly, it's very generous that Scott offers these giveaways. Even if fees are deducted by Paypal, you are still getting a nice prize.

Yes, that's very kind of Scott already. And Paypal means that the winner can use the money on needs relevant to him/her - even for local shopping in one's own country. The Amazon Gift option could be a bit limiting, you know?

These $20 payouts are really motivating, especially to new members.
