inaccurate books read count

Post by Eclecticmama »

I apologize if this has already been solved, I have searched but haven't found the answer I'm looking for. I have set my reading goal for this year to 30, but since I've been adding books that I have read in previous years to my book shelves, it is counting them as read this year. How do I add books without them being count as read this year? I under stand why the site is doing it, but is there any way around it?

Anything you add will count. There isn't any way around it.

You can make the books not count by going to the book's page and changing the "date read" to some date prior to this year. I always just input the year for those books and the site marks it as january 1 of that year.

It can be rather annoying with a large number of books (having to do each one separately) but is the only way at the moment. :tiphat:
