This is my first review. I input the code for italic from the laptop keyboard but the text is unchanged. Am I doing this properly?

Write the code before the text that you want to submit and it should appear italic or bold right after you have clicked the submit button

Hi, I know this can be confusing at first. The problem is when anyone tries to provide an example, the coding automatically shows bold text instead of the process, but there is an excellent example in the thread below:
