(Formerly the "Support, Feedback and Forum Announcements" forum.)
Please help us make Online Book Club even better! Please post suggestions, feedback and ideas for new features. Wild brainstorming and potentially 'crazy ideas' are super-strongly encouraged! :)

For new members (or old members who run into an issue), please make a post in this forum asking any questions you have about using the site and how it works that are not answered in the FAQ. Not only are we happy help you, but also we can use your feedback to make the site better for tomorrow's new member! A lot of the instructions throughout the site and answers in the FAQ are there because someone else pointed out that it wasn't clear before.

I have tried to bold and/or italize the text but am having difficulty. Please explain. Am using my Android phone. "Regular text. Bold text. Regular text." I don't understand how that works.

Hi, I am facing a problem of the codes being shown in all my recent 3 reviews. I can't understand why my reviews are having my coding revealed too with the text? Kindly assist me in this regard! If I am doing it wrong way or is it some technical problem with it?

I'm really getting confused over how to bolden or make my text italic. Do I press any of the buttons above. That is, the 'B' or 'I' buttons?
I am also having a problem getting my italic and bold to work. I am on an older laptop. bold italic, neither is working. Please assist. I done my first review a few days ago, and was not able to use either.

The first post of this topic explains it in detail, as well as showing what it should look like prior to posting, and this thread is specifically for practicing it so you know you have the hang of it.

When writing reviews, you will need to manually write the code into your review until the shortcuts are added to the new submission form.

Both of your attempts just worked. If you need further practice, that is what this thread is for. :tiphat:
