Which Kindle to Buy?

Post by CinWin »

I am getting tired of using the free app on my phone to read my Kindle books and need something with a bigger screen. In your opinion what is the best yet least costly Kindle out there on the market today?
Thanks in advance.

I just purchased a refurbished older edition Kindle with e-ink. I just got it today from Amazon so I'm still playing with it and learning how to navigate. So far, I'm happy with it. :)

I would recommend getting the Kindle PaperWhite version. Even though the basic version is still very complete, there's no lighting change option and that makes a huge difference if you're reading in bright or dark spaces. The Voayge and Oasis versions are way too expensive in my opinion for little difference compered to PaperWhite. Also, their screens are made of glass which can be tricky!

The kindle paper white is a perfect middle ground for new kindle users/owners.

I like the Kindle Paperwhite because it has a non-glare screen, and I can expand the text size. I don't need reading glasses when I use Kindle.

I have the Voyage and absolutely love it, for me it was worth the price but it was my second kindle device (the first being the kindle keyboard) and I wanted the extra features. The Paperwhite is a good entry level device for sure though.

I wanted to buy a kindle in which I can see coloured photographs and the coverage of the book. Can someone suggest to me?
