Kindle Fire update

Post by kybunnies »

Has anyone noticed that after the latest Kindle Fire update the battery drains faster. I always keep Wi-Fi turned off and I have the screen at half brightness. I could got 3-4 days between charging now I need to charge every other day.

I have a kindle touch, so didn't have to update. You should report this to Amazon.

Do they just update on their own? Or is it certain Kindles that are updating?

I have a Kindle Paper White and a Kindle Fire 7 and the Kindle Fire needs recharging a lot more than my Paper White.
