If you go on to the book shop on your kindle and search 'Free books' you should get lots of results. I personally did this and was set with books to read for quite a while. Although, from experience, i do warn you to read descriptions fully because sometimes the free book is part of a series with the rest being quite expensive!

I love using ibookpile, but you do have to convert the books in order to read them on your kindle.

You can get many free books from the amazon store itself. Simply go to whichever genre you wish to read, and then in the refine search options select sort lowest price to highest price. If there are any free books in your desired genre they will now be listed first. I have owned a kindle fire for almost four years and never once paid for a book.

Amazon is by far the best place to get free e-books for your Kindle. I subscribe to BookBub and get daily emails with anywhere from 6-10 books to get for free. Some may also have a small fee, such as $.99. The most I have seen, if there is a charge, is only $2.99. Not bad for new books! It also gives you the option to get this free book from Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or some other outlet. Hope this helps!

I love Bookbub. Haven't tried many other free sites. Kindle dropped the free site!

You can find massive amounts for Kindle. I just type in the genre of what I want to read and type in free before the genre and it brings up hundreds! Happy hunting :ugeek:

Personally, I use Amazon and Overdrive. However, I'll check out some of the other sites as well. We're always learning.

Kindle Buffet, Bookzio.com, Amazon. Just go on Google and type in free kindle books.

If you have prime, there are a lot more free book options. You can also borrow books once a month that aren't normally free.

I think Amazon is by far the easiest way, but you can find incredible books at Project Gutenberg. I would also recommend Google Scholar if you're looking for academic papers.

Amazon has a ton of free books, but you can also borrow from your local library. Depending on what type of book you are looking for.

Like a lot of people said, Amazon is really good. A lot of the classics are on there for free, as well as some good, lesser-known books.

I personally use Amazon and the library.
Amazon has free books every month to choose from and of course your library. However at your library you may have to wait for a certain book, depending on how many copies they have.
