Problem: Kindle App won't open .mobi file (Solved)

I downloaded it, and it was blank. No matter what I do, it won’t open correctly.

I am having trouble with the downloading of the book, “Who told you that you were naked?” I downloaded the kindle app. I would like to change this book for something more “Attention Grabber” So, I am not sure what the procedure is but I will pick up another one. It is not very clear as to what the steps are for this.

1 I’ve tried option 1 - I don’t have access to a PC so the other options are no-gos for me
2 No. kindle has downloaded it as a document but it’s a cover and that’s all
3 I’m on an iPad

I’ve updated my preferences so I no longer try to download this format, but I can’t review this until I can read it.

Hi I was able to download the book but like @Anna ERC it only has a cover and that's all. There is no content. The document is "Sigfried's Smelly Socks". Can anyone advise me on what to do?I cannot review other books if I can't read this one. Help!thank you.

Is it in a mobi document? I don't know if this will help. I use the Kindle app to read books on my phone. I downloaded the Kindle importer from app store. Then I use that to move mobi docs to the Kindle app. Hope that helps!

I have tried all 3 options. For option one it takes me to the play store to download an app that will work the top result is the Kindle app which I already have installed on my device but for some reason I can't transfer the book file over to my kindle

I have downloaded a pdf onto my computer successfully. (I do not have an e-reader.) However, the file will not let me copy text from it to paste into my notes. I found out the file is security protected so that you can not copy text without a password. Has anyone had this problem? Know a fix? Thank you.

Mobi file won’t download on my phone and I can’t find the book on Amazon

I´m very computer literate (Web Designer for 18 years) and had such a hard time trying to get the .mobi file into my Kindle.

I couldn´t download the file from my iPhone (that´s why the delay) until I came to my iMac.
I had to send it to Google Drive and from my phone, download the file and send it to Kindle.

Not intuitive process at all

I downloaded the book in my folder section and shared it on the mobi reader. The book on Mobi reader appears to be incomplete, meaning, I can see only a portion of the page. Like less than 20% of the page.
