I have the Nook Color and while I use it daily, I still read hardcover books from my personal library and from the public library regularly. The Nook is extremely useful when the lights are out and my husband is asleep. ~KK

I have 1 nook for my 12 year old child. Mainly because it is too small for me. Ha Ha. It is in a huge linen closet in our hallway. I have removed 4 shelves and it is perfect size for my daughter. We put blankets, pillows, and a reading sit up pillow in the bottom. It is so cute and neat when she is in there.

I had a Nook Simple Touch for about 4 years and it has traveled with me all over the world. The battery was long and reliable and, though the technology was old, it was easy to navigate. I burned through dozens of books for cheaper-than-physical-copy prices and I kept them all on a small, light device. It was wonderful not to have to carry 4 or 5 books around in a backpack on vacations.

However, after 4 years of reliable service, my Nook began malfunctioning and I went through periods where it wouldn't turn on or froze. But four years of cheap, portable books for $80 was a great deal. I definitely recommend the Nook system for any avid readers.

I have the nook tablet, Nook HD and Samsung 4 Nook. The first Nook that I owned was the Nook Color. My favorite is the Nook HD.

The nook I use is from windows 8.1, so I am not really sure what type of nook it is? I'm hoping I can still use it here. Tho, I think it's only for magazines. Off to check. lol

I have a nook Color, but I honestly don't use it much anymore. I got it for a gift a few years ago, and I want to upgrade-- whether it be a kindle or ipad. I want a piece of technology that i can use for multiple reasons. Lately I've been just using my Nook app on my phone and reading books on there.

I have the Nook color. I didn't think I would like to read books on a reader, but I really do enjoy it.

I have an older black and white screen nook, but I can get both Nook and Kindle on my laptop. I was just wondering if I should get a newer version of Nook or just stick with what I have?

I downloaded the Nook app for Windows 10 today. I have yet to find "Free" books for Nook. Do they even exist?

I also have a Nook Simple Touch. I wanted the E-Ink display and didn't really need any of the other features on some of the other Nook Editions. I just wanna read!! :D
