I have a Nook Color which I love. I usually use it just to read my Bible on because I prefer to have a physical copy of a book in my hands. I also read for long periods at a time, which my battery dislikes greatly. Most of the time I spend hours just surfing through the free books section because I don't feel comfortable paying $1 less for an eBook as opposed to getting up and going to Barnes and Noble.

A few years ago my father-in-law bought me a Simple-touch for Christmas. I really liked the e-ink technology. It was easy on the eyes and simple to use. If you are downloading books from the Barnes and Noble website to read then this is a simple e-reader that will serve your needs. However I was trying to download library books and found the process slow anf needlessly difficult. If i were purchasing an ereader today I would go for one of the nook tablets.

I have a Nook Glowlight and I also have a Nook Tablet. I like the Glowlight for traveling because it's so small and light, but I like the tablet at home. It's better to shop on.

I have a Nook HD+, which I love and use daily. I don't like to use it outside in the sunshine. There is a glare on the screen and even if you adjust the setting for brightness to the highest setting, it is sometimes still difficult to see. I also have a Nook Simple Touch that I have kept because I prefer to use it when reading outside in the sunshine. It's the perfect device for outside conditions but you need a book light if you want to use it in the dark.

I have the first edition, 3G + wifi. It had just came out and I got it as a gift from my mother. I much prefer it to an ipad or computer, but I still prefer paper books.

I have the Nook HD+. I love it and you it all the time, not only for reading, but email, web searches and my kids have a few games they like to play. I have it for about 2 years now, and I must say I definitely got my money out of it. LOVE IT!!
