I agree with you, the primary theme of the book was faith in God. But I also appreciated the author's, love, care, and loyalty to his wife. There was also strength in both him and his wife.

The severity of Ron's faith, and his ability to persevere. I learned from his experiences. There was also that of love. The love between Ron and Patsy was beautiful.

Yes, I agree with you. Faith was something that kept him going and that's a strong thing to learn from. Faith is really a strong tool to waiver through life.

Faith and endurance are both the main themes that could be seen in Ron's character. The fact that he held on and believed better times would come is remarkable and serves as guidance to those whose faith might have fallen short

The theme of faith got me from the beginning of the book. The main character was able to face the challenges he encountered because of his strong faith.

For me, faith stuck with me the most because faith keeps one going through tough times. And it's and encouragement for one to never give up.

The theme of eternal nature of love stuck with me. Ron stood with his wife, Patsy, despite the grave nature of her sickness. He didn't abandon her, and he continued to struggle to provide for the love of his heart. Patsy, on her own part, didn't abandon her husband when he was going through financial difficulties.

I agree with you. I really felt for Ron, and I was deeply saddened by the difficulties he had to contend with: a wife down with grave illness, and a crumbling business. Ron's personality is worth emulating.

The themes that stuck with me the most are faith and love. Faith to God when his life was in turmoil, and love for his wife, Patsy.

For me, I would say it's faith. It's amazing how Ron kept believing and hoping for better days despite his wife's condition. His faith was stretched and tried but he persisted.
