To me, the love Steve and Roxy shared was not healthy. There was betrayal, lack of trust and communication. It was kind of a toxic relationship.

their actions were wrong in many ways, their relationship fell into insane behavior patterns, and everything between them was very toxic.

I would say the love Steve and Roxy had was somewhat toxic as Steve was always the one showing love, support, and protection for Roxy, but I don't think Roxy did the same for him when needed.

The relationship Steve and Roxy had was a very toxic one. It made me happy when they got separated.

As Steve's only motivation for some of the decisions he took was his fear of losing her and desire to impress her, I believe it was unhealthy. Roxy, on the other hand, was not giving in to his demands. I had the impression that the connection was one-sided.

Any love that lacks proper communication is not healthy. Steve was suffering but he could not communicate his struggles and pain to Roxy, he resulted to drinking instead. Roxy herself ended up cheating on him. No love that involves cheating is healthy in my own opinion.
