I don't have consistent electricity so I say no. I like ebooks but when I have something I like to have tangible copies because I understand the simple fragility of data. Technically you don't have anything except permission to read a book when it's an ebook. A simple glitch or broken electronic device can take that in a moment.
I like hardcopies of books, CDs, and video game disks. I have them unless someone comes into my house and destroys them.

Books may diminish, but I don't think they'll ever be a time where books are fully replaced.
People who read are hiders. They hide who they are. People who hide don't always like who they are.

I accept the e-books has lots of benefits. But it can never replace the physical books. It is always that we tend to sacrifice a few things that we get out of physical books over the technology

Though eBooks are very convenient nowadays for all bibliophiles, I really don't agree that it should completely replace paperbacks. The feeling of a holding a book is different. The reading experience is different.

This is absolutely true! There's something so magical and personal about actual books. You can even write on them in your own handwriting and note the place and time of reading.

They are even more sentimental when given as a gift and all that messaging is written in there in human handwriting.

There's something special about physical books. Even if E-readers took over, I'd probably be one of the few who'd still hold on to physical books. I might even set up a museum just for that!

Long live physical books, viva la acutal books!

I don't think physical books will ever completely go away. There are many old books that I got from my mom that I haven't found in an e-book format. They may not be made available in e-book form because they weren't widely read, but Mom liked them.

In my opinion that should never happpen in this planet. E books are introduced to provide a comfort at some definite levels. but that can never comprimise the benifits of using the paperbacks.
