Help opening ebook files (epub, mobi, PDF, etc.)

I have trouble opening the book Burn Zones by Jorge P. Newbery.
1. epub
2. Kindle 5.12.3
3. No

Is there a possibility to download it in another format, or convert it? Because this device doesn't support epub format and if I cannot get the book in another format I would like to switch to another book. I will not be able to read it and review it.

That's because you chose the wrong format. Once chosen, the format can't be changed, but you can try to convert it via the free Calibre App.

5. The fourth step is where my issue lies. The downloaded file is only a book cover - 3.31MB - not the entire book. I retried the first 3 steps to open, then clicked on open with Word, to the same result.

7. I downloaded the Kindle app, but could only open the same file as before using this app. I was unable to download the selected title in a different format after updating my preferences. I removed the downloaded file from my device

You need to convert the file to Mobi to read it on the Kindle App.

If the file doesn't show, you need to report it via your Update tab.

You may not have enough memory on your cell. Try to download (and save it) to your PC and then move it to your device.

The book is in Epub. I have installed the Kindle Desktop app and I am trying to open it in MOBI but I can't get to the option to download the MOBI anymore.
This is the first time I try to download the file in that format. Please help. Thanks in advance.

Once chosen, you can't pick another format. You can try to convert the file via the free Calibre App.

You can't read this format on kindle. The Calibre App is free (you should google it to download it), so you can try to convert it via that App. Otherwise, you will have to quit the book via your Update tab.

You should have checked the format on the Select tab before picking it. One can only get the format offered on the Select tab. It the format was epub, you can't get it in any other format regardless of what you marked on your preferences.
