Have you tried to convert the file to the format you use?

You can convert it via the Calibre app (which is free), and then move it to your device.

The Guidelines clearly say that:
"After first clicking to accept a review, you will then choose the format in which you want to receive book before confirming. Once confirmed, you cannot change the format. It is important to make sure the formats you set in your preferences and the format you ultimately choose are compatible with your device."

Okay, I get. But is there a way I can cancel my request for the review?

You can do that via the Update tab of your RT page by submitting an error report.
