Touchscreen or Buttons?

What type of ebook readers do you prefer? Modern touch ones or classic button ones? I'd especially like to hear from people who had both and how they compare. It seems my Kobo Touch might be on the deader side, so I'm looking at options. It's the first and only ebook reader I've had, so I can't really compare. I would love to hear your thoughts on the subject.

I had both and I much prefer the touch one. It is easier to handle and faster.

Touch screen all the way. I hate the buttons.

In the past, I would have said buttons. Now, everything I own is basically touch screen so I've become accustomed to it.

Obviously.. Touchscreens are better to use. I prefer that too. It makes reading faster.

I have the Voyage which allows me to page turn via button from either side of the device or page turn via screen as well. This is perfect for me as I don't have to worry which hand i'm holding it in. The buttons have been especially nice in the winter, since I didn't have to remove my gloves to flip pages, and with the same lighting as the Paperwhite makes it darn near the best of the kindles in my opinion. If they would give the ability to listen to audio books on it, it would be second to none.

Touchscreen all the way. The last button smartphone I had was a blackberry type and it was very inconvenient for me, especially sine I have rather large fingers.

Touchscreens are much better because they are faster and easier. When you start using touchscreens, you'll find working on buttons tedious.

My first kindle was the keyboard and it was buttons. I loved it. The buttons make it easy to turn pages without accidentally touching the side of the screen and flipping the page on a touch screen device. I would love to own the kindle voyage or oasis, but they are just much too expensive and I've settled with a $40 kindle fire. I'm always having to watch where my hands are when I hold the thing. Haha.

My first Kindle was a paperwhite and it wasn't a touchscreen. It had two buttons on the side and it made it hard to navigate on the page. I bought the Kindle Fire and Kindle Fire HD and they are touchscreens. In my opinion, they are much easier to use. I agree that I do have to be careful where I have my hands on it because it will change the page.
