page numbers in various formats

Post by Arizonajack81 »

Hi all

I am brand new, and reviewing my first book. The thing is, the page numbers vary so much, based on which reader I open it up on; this makes it impossible to include the page numbers of errors of grammar, etc. I don't know which one to rely on :? .

Thanks,

Jack

Weirdly I find the page numbers in Kindle consistent across devices, but I get why that might not happen. Just write down whichever page number you see when you find an error: make sure you quote enough of the sentence to make it easy for the author or publisher to find, that's what's key.
This post was brought to you by the word "specifically".

I have the same issue. It's very confusing. I agree with the previous reply. Just write down what you can and make sure you quote enough that they'll be able to find it.

Regardless of the reader I use, I simply make a note of the issue and use the page number to look it up in the OBC reader app. I also adhere to the guidelines to capture as much of the sentence as possible so that any moderator may quickly find it. I think the latter is the most important part.
