Hardcover and softcover are the same to me. They both have their advantages and disadvantages. But for now, eReaders are a lot better for me because I can read on the go!

I like all of the formats but i prefer to pick my favourite books as hardcover, i like the texture and the heavy feel. For convenience and reading everywhere i like my tablet. Softcover is the last option i would go for.

I absolutely just love to feel the hardness of a book cover and sniff the pages intermittently :D . Generally, I can adjust to whichever but the traditionalist in me chooses the hard cover or even soft cover hands down anytime instead of the tablet, phone or laptop :techie-studyingbrown: . I worry too that I may become blind with all that screen staring...lol. But then again, I'd opt for e-reading rather than staying without a book!

I prefer soft and hard copy. soft copy is so easy to access, and alot of free books too. However,id always go for an actual copy of a book. Nothing beats the feeling of a serene view with coffee in my hand and a book in the other.

I am with you on this. It is a rather pleasing experience.

When I buy paperbacks, I'll prefer hard cover since it will last longer than soft cover. Now, I am hooked on reading on tablet.
