I do have a kindle... and while it serves the purpose of decreasing space in my bag, and increases portability, sometimes I just miss a good old fashioned paper book! :D

I have tried all formats, beginning with Nook and moving on to Kindle. Now that I have an iPad, I use a Kindle app as well as generic epub readers. It no longer matters to me. However, I am reading a heavy, hardback novel that a friend loaned me, and it's bugging me that I can't adjust the text size and spacing.

Reading "Serendipity Mystery: Diary of a Snoopy Cat" (and every other free book I can get my hands on) through my generation 1 kindle fire. I got this thing back in 2011 and it's still holding up well.

I'm currently reading The Zodiac Killer (a fictional story that shares the name of a real killer), on my Kindle Touch. It's the only e-reader I've ever used, so I can't speak for any other type of e-reader. However, I absolutely love my Kindle, and I'm sad whenever there's no e-book version available of the books I want to read.
