I prefer action mixed with romance. I love the kind of romance where the characters don't see eye to eye then slowly starts developing feelings for each other.

Action! I feel like all romance novels are the same and I don't really need all the details on the sex scenes. I want a deep storyline that keeps me wondering and thinking about the book when I'm not reading it.

What a tough question! I am going to answer in the most annoying way possible and say both! I tend to gravitate towards romance novels that involve action and adventure. I typically stay in my lane with historical romance that involves knights, highlanders, vikings, sword fights, daring escapes, etc.

Romance of course. It is a relatable topic because we all want to fall-in love and be loved. Action would feel lacking without romance on the side.

I love to read romance. I don't mind action being a part of romantic novel. But, I prefer romance over action.
