If you have a smartphone, you just need to download free ereader Prestigio app on Google Play Store and you're good to go. This is what I'm using. On my PC, I have Calibre installed, which can decipher multiple formats and is open source, thus completely free, in addition of being DRM-Free.
Tablets are better suited for reading e-books in my opinion, due to their relative size and aspect ratio as compared to a smartphone or a PC.
