E reader

I'm wondering what kind of tablet would work best for reading. I don't have a lot of money to invest right now.

I have a kindle and I am satisfied. It isn't a tab and its purpose is just reading. I guess any tab would do, but I think
E readers are better suited for reading purposes.

Buy a kindle 7 or a kindle reader. Both of them work fine but the reader is well suited for reading purposes.

If you have a smartphone, you just need to download free ereader Prestigio app on Google Play Store and you're good to go. This is what I'm using. There are lots of free books too.

I hope that helps you.

I think you can just go for the free Kindle app on your phone for reading. If not, then you can invest in the Amazon Kindle device. It's the cheapest ebook reader worth buying right now.

I use the Kindle app or Adobe Reader. These are both free. I do most of my reading on my pc or tablet and both of these work well.

The Kindle Fire offers a 7 inch screen and is available for under $40. It can also be used like any tablet, connecting to the internet for apps, music, and games. It also has a camera. The only trouble we've had is the power cord eventually can become loose when plugged in to the tablet and not charge correctly. We paid a little extra at Best Buy for the warranty and they've replaced the tablet and warranty completely free.

If you don't have a lot of money to spend but already have a smart phone just download the kindle app. You can download it to your PC, too. Amazon almost always has some sort of deal going for their kindle tablets.

I'd recommend an e reader it's better for reading. Any tab would do though.

I have the nook glowlight and love it. They currently have refurbished ones for $90 which might be out of your price range if you're short on funds, but it has the e-ink display that doesn't put as much strain on your eyes, while still allowing you turn on the backlight if you need it.

I am using my regular Samsung tablet, with the e-reader "Lithium". Whilst it is only able to read epub files, most of the features available aren't locked behind a paywall nor does it contain any Digital Rights Management.

On my PC, I have Calibre installed, which can decipher multiple formats and is open source, thus completely free, in addition of being DRM-Free.

Tablets are better suited for reading e-books in my opinion, due to their relative size and aspect ratio as compared to a smartphone or a PC.

Although I haven't used it myself, but so far people seem to enjoy reading e-books on their iPads.
People who read are hiders. They hide who they are. People who hide don't always like who they are.
