However, having said that, I do also love my ebooks. They can keep me company wherever I am without the need to carry a large book around with me. And I do not like to crumple the pages of my paper book in my bag. So, if I have to wait at the doctor or have an appointment and am too early, I can still enjoy my book without carrying the hard copy with me.
I think there is no either or for me. It depends on the mood and the situation which type I go for and I am glad that I have my ebooks accessible every time.

I love the feeling and the smell of the paper in real books and I do love the sound when you turn the page on a new book. Another plus is you don't have too charge it and you can't really forget your password. Also a shelf full of books in your home help people immediately realize what kind of person you are and what taste you have.
But then on the other hand if there's no light for whatever reason an e-book is your best friend. It's also easy to carry whatever device you want wherever you go and even if you finish a book there's always another ready to read so you don't have to carry around a paperback you just finished reading.
Also if you use a combination of the different types I believe you get a better reading experience because not all books are available online just as all books aren't available in print. You also have access to a lot of free material online while you collect and pay for books you really want in your shelf. Besides for anyone who is a greedy reader like me the idea of multiple books seem incredible. When it comes to read I think bookworm agree "the more the merrier"
