My 2024 Reading Diary

Members of the forum can keep notes about their reading. You can post your notes and opinions about what you're reading. Kind of like a personal reading blog, but in thread format, and where other members would be able to read and interact with you. And, of course, you would be able to read and interact with other members.

As 2024 Approaches I want to keep track of my TBR (to be read) as well as what I currently have in process. I usually read about 3 books at a time and try to make at least one of those audiobooks. I read 32 books in 2023 and want to reach 52 books (one book a week) in 2024!

Currently reading:
- Crying in H-Mart, Michelle Zauner*
- Hamnet, Maggie O'Farrell

- The Great Alone, Kristin Hannah
- The Secret History, Donna Tartt
- Entangled Life: How Fungi Make Our Worlds, Change Our Minds, & Shape Our Futures, Merlin Sheldrake
- Braiding Sweetgrass, Robin Wall Kimmerer
- I Am, I Am, I Am: Seventeen Brushes With Death, Maggie O'Farrell
- The Southern Book Club's Guide to Slaying Vampires, Grady Hendrix
- In the Likely Event, Rebecca Yarros
- The Woman In Me, Brittany Spears*
- Happy Place, Emily Henry
- The Unthinkable: Who Survives When Disaster Strikes - and Why, Amanda Ripley
- The Echo of Old Books, Barbara Davis
- Divine Rivals, Rebecca Ross
- Convenience Store Woman, Sayaka Murata
- Bunny, Mona Awad
- The Song of Achilles, Madeline Miller
- The Priory of the Orange Tree, Samatha Shannon
- The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue, V.E Schwab
- Our National Parks, John Muir

I will add more as we get there!

I like your format for a 2024 reading diary and am inspired to try one of my own to keep me motivated and on track for increasing and improving my reading library. Thanks, and enjoy your reading!

This is great.. how do you pick what you forecast to read? And can you update your original post, once you have read or decide not to read? to keep the Diary up to date?

Note: ok, so I figured out how to edit a post.. so that question is answered. LOL. I too read multiple books at a time, I think it is the book worm nature.
