I don't really have any strong opinion on this, tbh. There have been a lot of tropes similar like this nowadays, so I don't think Cecilia being the polar opposite of her father is that original, anyway. I must agree, though, that Cecilia being as evil as her father would be quite interesting. Yet again, with a lot of movies humanizing villains these days, it might not be that fresh of an idea, either.

I think that her personality is consistent. She spent, so the story goes, many years doing Lucifer’s bidding and she enjoyed it. She just grew tired of all of the chaos. We change the way that we think, feel, and do things. She’d lived much longer and had even more reason to change her mind.

I side with the author on this because the readers would not be surprised that something out of the ordinary has happened, if Cecilia was not bored of her father's malevolent behaviors

Cecelia, as a young girl is free to choose any traits or mentality that would govern her life feels. She doesn't necessarily need to have her father's attitude. I think her it's compatible with her personality.

I think a person's attitude or personality is dependent on them only. The author has done the right thing by doing this as if she were like Lucifer only then we won't be having such a good story.

I think having Cecilia develop her own personality fits with her finding her moral compass. If she were still satisfied with living in Hell she would have been a carbon copy of her father because she did not have the personal space or freedom to grow into her own person.

I love the flavor of Cecelia Harrow's character. being lucifer"s daughter doesn't mean she must be like her father. I was expecting her to be like her father but then she seems to be something else and in my opinion, it makes her character and the story feel fresh.

I think Cecilia's personality actually makes her stand out in the plot. she seems to always have my full attention.

I do find it very interesting to see that Lucifer’s daughter doesn’t quite follow the ideas and personality of Lucifer. Overall I do feel that’s quite a good characterisation choice, as children do rarely follow 100% in their parents.

I believe that each person is able to chose his/her own path in spite of being brought up in a completely different environment. Thus, Cecilia could difinetly be different than her parents.

From my stand, I liked how Cecilia didn't inherit her father's characteristics. It also makes the book more unique from the other book with the same concept. And the story will be boring if there are two Lucifer.

I think the fact that Cecilia, being Lucifer's daughter doesn't have to make her as evil as her father. It's true she has evil running in her genes but she also has humanity. At first she portrays her evil side when she slays innocent people but as the story unravels she reveals a more human side to her. The struggle in her personality is also all too clear in her love triangle. I think the author has made her very authentic by making her personality this way.

Sometimes, people simply choose who they are going to be and what traits they are going to show. It is easier to simply adopt the attitude/personality of the parents, but not always the case. So I do think it is believable.

I agree with you. Cecelia Harrow's character is compatible with what we know of Lucifer. How could she interact with human beings without harming them.

The lifestyle of a child is most times independent of the lifestyle of the parents. The child exercises his right to choose which life is best for him at some point. So yes, the author's perspective resonates with mine.
