Childhood is meant to be fun, happy and filled with good memories. However, Ariana's childhood is so disturbing. I am eager to read Ariana's story. Thanks for the wonderful review.

I don't have much knowledge about Iranian history or Armenian culture, but I'm always willing to learn about societies and lifestyles that are different than mine.
The topic of abuse is, definitely, a hard one but, as you say, it's important both to raise awareness and to feel gratitude and, hopefully, to give hope to those that are suffering a harrowing situation like the one the author experienced.
Thank you for your great review.

After reading your review, I think that I will pass on it. I am not one for terrorism or domestic violence, so I probably would not enjoy it all that much. Thanks for the honest review!
