Thanks for your interesting review. Jimmy Mathis was a good man who touched many peoples' lives. His daughter has written this book to share with others her memories of this man, her father. This is a heartwarming and deeply moving story. Congratulations to the author for being chosen as BOTD.

Like Saving Summer in a Jar by Ami Mathis

Read the official review by "Stacie K". Excellent book. "Ami Mathis" has written the book in a conversational style. It is a story of her father, "Jimmy" and what values Jimmy learnt through his walk of life, and what he passed on his children. I liked the book, through the eyes of "Stacie" and I strongly recommend it. I will definitely read the book and will review it.

I rate it a 4 out of 4.

What a well written and certainly a loving tribute from a daughter who loved, admired and respected her Dad. Documenting and sharing with the world, from her observations and perspective, a life well lived and lived with purpose. Thanks for sharing!

I'm not really a fan of memoirs, but I occasionally read them and may pick one up. This sounds like an interesting book that I can learn a thing or two from. Nice review.

One woman writes a heartwarming memoir in appreciation of her late father. Jimmy Mathis' hard work and tenacity enabled him to achieve great things throughout his life. The author also shares valuable life lessons that she learned from Jimmy.

This book really looks like a book that I can easily pick to read and enjoy. I like reading relaxed books at times so this might be it in the near future. Meanwhile thanks to the author the book is free on Amazon Kindle. Thanks for the great review.

Thanks for a great review. It is always a great thing to read memoirs. They inspire by telling out someone's story. For instance, as a city girl, you have learnt a lot about growing in a rural area. From this review, I will consider reading the book.

This seems like such an inspiring story. It wouldn't be such a bad thing at all to aspire towards Jimmy's standard. Thanks for the detailed review!

I love some the the lessons included in this book such as respect for family and traditions, priority of family over work, and the importance of creating memories and forming traditions. Great review.

What i learn about this story is that no matter what situation you are facing but you don't have to give up, believe in yourself that you can make it one day.
