I can't imagine reading a whole book about quotations. Plus a grammar book with grammatical issues? I'm going to pass, but I'm sure this book has a place for a certain audience. Thank You.

It's a very understanding book it's so important about what Ruth spoke about throughout the entire book reading the quote made me feel like she put her all into it

I'm sure that the author wants to express her feelings to her target audience. 3rd paragraph caught my attention.. ;)

I like a book that has a lot of research put into it. You say that the topic of quotation is bigger that we think, and I think I really want to know what you mean. I just might give the book a try. Good review.

Great review. I had no idea that someone would write a book on the act of quoting. Some people just have interesting mazes inside their heads.

For real, it meals one can make a topic out of any interest, no matter how common-place or esoteric.

After reading this book it occurred to me that there is not one person who does not quote according to the author's broad definitions. How else do babies learn to talk if not to quote their caregivers?

I'm looking for a new book to read and this one caught my eye. I've always been interested in quotes and where they came from. But, in your review you state there are some errors that I'm afraid have made me decide against this one. Thanks.

I've just started reading Why do we quote and am impressed with the amount of research the author put into writing it. I've noticed a few formatting errors that make it difficult to follow along but I'm enjoying it so far.
