Practices like journaling and coloring, that encourage mindfulness and relaxation have also been proven to be highly beneficial so I really applaud this book.
I´m definitely going to read it and recommend it. Thanks for a very inspirational review.
I completely agree with you. Prayer, meditation and reflection are such powerful tools to use. I thought that the author made this book quite approachable to readers of most faiths even though she was not apologetic about her own.

It sounds like this book offers something different in practicing prayer and communing with God. I like the idea of meditation on God's Word and using colors, candles, essential oils, etc. to stimulate strong emotions and feelings. A lot of times, people tend to stress the mental aspects of belief and not discuss the emotional part. I may need to give this book a try. I like that the author shares her artwork.

I'm a Christian, so I highly believe in prayer, and I love the idea of the coloring pages, yet I don't think I want to read this; it's something about it that I can't quite put my finger on. Thanks for the review, though!

Prayer, essential oils, tea, coloring, meditation: I love love this book! I am really into spiritual books that are not overly religious. I also like the fact that she made it interactive and included coloring pages. Thanks for the nice review!

After reading the review I do agree that its a great book. We all need some source of peace and harmony and if prayer and meditation help, then why not embrace them.

I love that Petway is very honest and shares her most vulnerable moment with the reader. I also love that it's not limited to Christians only t would be beneficial to a lot of people. Great review.

I wonder what version of the book you have. I had a mobi version and found the formatting to be awful. The book was unreadable. It also failed to include any of the promised sheets. Granted, I'm not sure how I would have accessed them but having sight of the sheets would have allowed the reader to design their own based on the author's.
You know you’ve read a good book when you turn the last page and feel a little as if you have lost a friend.
